About the event
GET CARTER was released on Mar 10th 1971. To mark 55 years since this iconic thriller was released, 'Confessions' Pete Shovlin (publisher/historian/pervert) will be leading a walking tour throughout Newcastle City Centre and surrounding areas of many of the locations featured in the film.
The tour will last approx 2-2.5 hours and will cover just under 3 miles of walking. Comfortable and appropriate shoes for walking are encouraged.
MEETING POINT: near SUBWAY opposite Central Station / at the bottom of Pink Lane.
FINISHING POINT: we will finish at the same location, at which point attendees will be encouraged to retire for much needed refreshments at a quality local watering hole.
